It is true..I love color. This is a painting (approx.25"x18") on Fredericks watercolor canvas. A friend gave me a large piece and I cut off this bit to try it out. Nice surface, need to staple it to a sturdy board..not gaterboard. Tape and masque stuck but didn't keep the whites..left interesting marks though. I used salt and had to use a palette knife to scrape it off once it had dried. PLastic wrap worked well. And it was easy to paint.

Les couleurs que vous employez pour vos fonds sont sublimes et douces. Elles permettent de mettre en valeur les motifs de vos sujets.
ReplyDeleteThanks for describing your process. I have two stretched watercolour canvases - been a bit hesitant as am intimidated by putting watercolour on canvas.
ReplyDeleteSeeing how successful you painted on this surface, I will look forward to trying out soon.
Love your colour by the way!
I don't know enough about the materials and the techniques that you use. I just like the results. I am always so impressed. i wish I could hang them all over my apartment.
